Disclaimers

The following disclaimers apply to all interactions with Ross & Associates Tax Office, including the website, client portal, TaxesToGo mobile app, and any educational content we publish.

Effective January 1, 2026

01

Tax Advice Disclaimer

Information provided through engagements, consultations, or general content is for educational and informational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized tax, legal, or financial advice. Tax law changes frequently and varies by jurisdiction. Always consult your engaged preparer about your specific situation before acting.

02

No Guarantee of Refund Amounts

Refund and balance-due figures discussed prior to filing are estimates only. Final amounts are determined by the IRS and state revenue agencies based on the return as filed and any subsequent adjustments.

03

IRS & State Processing Delays

Processing times, identity verification holds, manual reviews, and audit selection are controlled by the IRS and state agencies. Ross & Associates Tax Office has no ability to expedite government processing.

04

Third-Party Bank Disclaimer

Refund transfers, refund advances, and similar bank products are offered by independent financial institutions. Approval, funding, fees, and disbursement timing are determined solely by those institutions.

05

Accuracy Depends on Client Information

Returns are prepared based on information you provide. We are not responsible for omissions, inaccuracies, or undisclosed income, deductions, or dependents. You are responsible for reviewing the return before authorizing e-signature.

06

Educational & Website Content

Articles, FAQs, and other content published on our website or knowledge hub are general in nature and may not reflect the most recent legislative or regulatory changes. Reliance on this content is at your own risk.

07

Technology Interruption

While we maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure, occasional outages, maintenance windows, or third-party service interruptions may affect access to the portal or mobile app. We will work to restore service promptly.

08

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Ross & Associates Tax Office provides tax preparation and advisory services, not legal advice. Engagement with our firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. For legal matters, consult licensed counsel.

09

Remote Filing

Remote filing is conducted through secure, encrypted channels. By engaging in remote filing, you acknowledge that the engagement is performed virtually and consent to electronic signatures and electronic delivery of documents.

10

Compliance

We follow IRS due-diligence standards, Annual Filing Season Program guidelines, and continuing education requirements. We do not, however, guarantee that any return will avoid audit or examination.
