The Inspiration Behind Ross and Associates
Ross & Associates Tax Office was founded with a clear vision: to provide reliable, professional tax services that help individuals and small businesses stay financially organized and compliant with tax laws.
Founder Mason H. Ross Jr. began his journey in the tax industry in 1998, developing a strong foundation in tax preparation, financial recordkeeping, and compliance. With a natural talent for numbers and a passion for helping people understand their finances, Mason quickly built a reputation for providing dependable tax services and personalized support to his clients.
Throughout the years, Mason continued to expand his knowledge and experience while assisting individuals, families, and small business owners with their tax responsibilities. His commitment to professionalism and accuracy helped establish long-lasting relationships with clients who rely on trusted guidance year after year.
In 2011, Mason partnered with Christopher Phillips to create Ross & Phillips Tax Services, further expanding the reach of the firm and strengthening its service offerings. After the partnership concluded amicably in early 2020, Mason continued forward with his vision and established Ross & Associates Tax Office, a family-owned and operated firm dedicated to providing high-quality tax preparation and bookkeeping services.
Today, Ross & Associates Tax Office proudly serves clients locally and nationwide, offering dependable tax preparation, assistance with previous-year filings, IRS support, and professional bookkeeping services.
Our focus remains simple: helping our clients stay compliant, financially organized, and confident in their tax matters.

Tribute to Mr. Al Davis
My journey in the tax industry would not have been possible without the guidance and mentorship of the late Mr. Al Davis, the man who first taught me the principles of tax preparation and professional integrity. His patience, wisdom, and dedication laid the foundation for the career I began in 1995-1998 and continue to build today.
Mr. Davis often reminded me, “If all else fails, at least I'm able to teach you taxes.” Those words stayed with me throughout my life and career. More than teaching me the technical side of tax preparation, he taught me the value of honesty, hard work, and helping others through knowledge. The gold within my personal logo serves as a lasting reminder of a man with a heart of gold whose lessons continue to guide me, my family, and the work I do for every client I serve.
